Just noticed that I have no sidelights on my Series 3 Roadster.
Fuse is okay - globes are okay. Is there a relay somewhere which is causing the problem, or is the rocker switch faulty? Or some other gremlin?
Tail (Side) Lights not working
#2 Re: Tail (Side) Lights not working
Hello Bill, get yourself a copy of the wiring diagram from the Technical Help section & a multimeter. There are no relays in this circuit, just a fuse & the park light rocker switch. I have repaired / cleaned the rocker switches in my car to improve performance. They can be tricky to remove from the panel, but once out they are easy to disassemble & clean. Be careful, some solvents will destroy the old plastics in the switches.

Almost certain to be either the switch or fuse.....just a chance a bullet connector came loose somewhere too..probably in an inaccessible part of the dash where the front to back loom joins the dash loom:bigrin:

In fact if the rear tail lights don't work but the front side lights do it is more likely to be a loose wire than the switch...
