I could use your advice again.
One of the PO's has installed a plastic inline fuel filter between the fuel filter (engine bay) and the carbs. A rubber hose was used. I would like to replace it with something that looks like from the factory fit series, like this one in post #156
http://forum.etypeuk.com/viewtopic.php?p=58073#p58073
It is transparent and must have gotten a brown tint with age. The replacements for the carb feed line C17335, which I have found at SNGB and Oldtimerteile Idstein (Germany) are opaque white and have a brass banjo that is narrower than the one shown above. My banjos are plated like C17335/B from SNGB.
What can I use instead? Did one of you replace the tubing with transparent nylon PA12 and could the stock banjo be used for it?
Thanks!

The tube was originally white but discolours to brown with age. You can buy a length of the white tube and use the existing fittings. The tube is a very tight push fit onto the fittings so the trick is to heat the fitting in a vice and once it is hot push the tube on.

Thank-you, David and Christopher,
I will follow your advice, get white fuel line tubing and make the feed line myself. I will report on the result.
