Hi All,
I would like to put my e-type on a rotisserie jig, for prepping, prior to painting.
It is minus almost everything, but it does have the front frames and suspension.
I really dont want to strip down the whole front end again, so has anybody mounted a rotiserie to the front frames... successfully?
Thank you for any advice.

I suggest you ask Andy Rayner at Hutsons 01274 669052 whether this is possible . They certainly did not do it with my FHC ( I've just looked at the photos) but I think it would be possible , although you would probably need to make some jig to attach the front swivel to the steel of the picture frame, and I think you would be better removing the bonnet support frame

Use (2) engine stands with rear bolted to license plate panel. On the front the it is attached to picture frame. Front suspension is in place. Clearance in my work space dictated a point of rotation above the picture frame secured with steel angle iron.

Hi i had mine on a rotisserie, I copied what I saw up at Hutsons, see the pic it worked a treat.
Sorry Keith think I’m missing the point here.. you don’t want to remove the frames I just read your question again. I’ve left the post up and pic incase it helps you seeing how I mounted mine, you could do similar with a longer pole to the rotisserie frame work from the bulkhead, maybe create something on the picture frame just to help balance/stabilise it… think the bonnet support will definately have to come off.
However, as a previous member said speak to Andy at Hutsons he is not only the most helpful fella you ever going to speak to but also one of the most knowledgable. Dealt with him for years.. first class
