Hello Paul, sorry for late reply but been pre- occupied with other work. Looks a really good piece of kit but what is the base unit you have used or is it all assembled from scratch?

Hi, I fitted the EZ system a couple of years back on a S1 and would would recommend it. It was relatively easy to fit and can be done in half a day. As far as i know it is not adjustable and works off your speed and cut out at about 25mph. If you are going around a long bend at around 25mph you can feel it cutting in or out depending if above it below 25mph.
It is a god send for parking or moving around at low speed and I would not go back.
Its biggest downfall is its cost. It intrudes into the cab only a small amount and cannot be seen. It is a bolt in job and does not need alteration to a S1 car. Not sure about other other series.

Hi John,
The base unit is a LHD column (motor on top pointing to the right) from ether a 2000-2004ish Vauxhall Agila or from a Suzuki Ignis, same years. It is important to get one together with motor and ECU as they tend to differ, even with the same model and also important to make sure it has an external torque sensor.
I made up my own brackets and all adaptations. The spline at the bottom is 36 tooth x 17mm and the Jaguar is I think 48 tooth x 3/4 “, so an adapter is necessary. I bought a GPS controller, but it is also possible to get a manual one.
Happy to provide further information if you need it.
( tried to upload some more photos, but Postimages won’t let me?)
