I sadly bid farewell to my 61 FHC today - “The Golden Dream”. She gave me 17 years of great pleasure. I’ve had much help from this forum over the years and for that I sincerely thank you all.
Regards, Pete

Not sure what’s in store. I’m recommissioning my 69 S1 XJ6 MOD at present. Just put the head back on so hope to have it up and running soon. A good friend of mine passed a year ago and his lovely S2 FHC is on the market along with his Austin Healey 100/4. And then there’s my nephews Mk2 3.8 MOD. Tempting…

I've got a Mk2 with a manual 5 speed box, and I'd highly recommend them.
It's a really nice car and with a little work I've managed to get it to handle well enough for a little spirited driving.
My current project is a very early Australian TKD MGB. I've got it stripped and I'm currently deciding just how much I'm going to have to overcapitalise on it to get it nice. The plan is to try to make it as original as possible, even down to the red interior with white piping.

Hey Andrew, long time no chat. I actually owned a 66 Mk2 3.8 MOD for 14 years prior to the E. Also a couple of years back I bought my dads old MGB - a 63 he bought new when I was just 1. He owned it 15 years and 43 years later I got it back into the family. It’s a keeper for sure! Aintree Green which was only for Australian built B’s in 63 only so quite a rare colour.
