Hi All
Is it OK to rest the bonnet on its back after removal, I am planning to remove all the old underseal and repaint the underside. I would potentially make a timber frame with foam to protect the paint
Thanks
Ian

Stand it up on its opening end is typical...on a piece of old carpet to protect the edge....iv done it to remove all the underseal and repaint....you could lay it on its back but you would need to be ultra carefull if its painted and avoid damaging the louvres..... Steve

And it easy to remove the bonnet on your own as outlined here:
