Hi has anyone removed the picture frame whilst leaving the side frames and the engine in place ?
Anything I need to watch out for? Do I support the engine ? etc

Yes iv done it...fully support the engine under the sump...and supports under the body/bulkhead...remove torsion from torsion bars by releasing front suspension...then you can remove picture frame...but lots of other bits to dismantle first....Steve...PS if you search you will find posts on how to fit engine frames around an engine...so basically the reverse of what you want to do...
