#1 Insurance during rebuild

Post by alunwill » Sat Aug 09, 2025 4:07 pm

As the work progresses, so does the value I have in this car. Are there any recommendations for car insurance whilst doing the rebuild. I've tried footmans and apparently they don't provide it.

From the previous posts on this forum, getting one to insure the disassembled bits may be the challenge.

Recommendations greatly appreciated.

I use Hagerty, they do a restoration policy. You will need to send photos at regular intervals and agree a value.

I don't know whether it's any good because I've not had to make a claim, thankfully.
