But of course!It works! Now to slide the TB off….
And as you have probably discovered, you don't have to disengage the wishbone from the Torsion Bar, if your only endeavor is to replace the bushes. Yep - I love this forum! I’m afraid I’m not doing a full on job. I will clean everything up to a degree with wire wheel etc - 60 years of brake dust mixed with oil on an unrestored 1965 car (we’ve had it a long time).

Hi Freddie....I think at this stage it would be a bit short sighted not to remove the torsion bar and rear adjuster...you've done the hard work...it would mean you could easily dress the splines and sort out why the bolts wouldnt come out.....it would make future ride height adjustment much simpler.....Steve
