#1 Latest news of 860005 1600HP

Post by PSK1600HP » Wed Dec 03, 2025 8:40 am

Good Morning Friends,
It's been quite some time since I last posted on this forum due manic work & domestic life pressures.
Angus did some minor tinkering with 860005 earlier this year and will be attending to her again soon to sort out an irritating issue with low voltage wiring to the coil causing 1600HP to cough a splutter.
Since summer 2024, 860005 was been in quite a few publications, with thanks to Sam Skelton (Editor of Jaguar World & Classic Jaguar) and Nick Cliffe (who made the introduction) and his new book release 'E-Type Jaguar'.
All these publications credit Moss Jaguar, including Maikel Lemke's U-Tube feature of 860005 during his visit to Moss Jaguar's Open Day 2024 (see www.youtube.com/watch?v=j6bexIorpg0)
Images below feature these publications of 860005 ...

Paul, well deserved to see your car in the spotlight.
Have you asked Santa for a new supply of chamois leathers and polish to keep the car bright and clean

Hi Danny,
Good to hear from you.
Didn't manage to visit The Goat much through this year due to weather, working away and holidays. I do plan to get up there more frequently through 2026.
The publisher of Classic Jaguar and Jaguar World only informed me about one of the magazines, whereas I stumbled across to of the other magazines with pleasant surprise.
Wishing you a pleasant festive season and see you in the new year :santa:
