First "production" 4.2 date

I'm researching my car # 1017* and have a question about the late 64 production date. Mine was Oct 15
Does anyone have info on a specific date for when the first run started? Before you say " why does it matter" I'm only curious for nerdy reasons.
My books only state "Oct"
How many other early 4.2s are out there, and what are the dates?

Plenty of August 64 4.2 cars on xkedata....Steve
