#1 ZEUS CALIPER REBUILD KITS?

Post by Stevemorris » Sat May 23, 2026 5:53 pm

Hi all, I have looked on their website quickly and can't see any reference to repair kits for Zeus calipers? Does anyone know can you actually get the seal kits??

Thanks, Steve.

I may be mis-remembering, but isn't the Zeus conversion based on London Taxi calipers?

Regards
Stuart

Just spoke to a really nice chap at Zeus. The calipers are either Aluminium or Cast iron for a series 1 and they can and do supply seal kits and new pistons for both. I did ask if they were the same as a London Taxi and they are apparently, interesting story was the original taxi had such a good turning circle down to the fact that it had drum brakes, and with no bulky caliper behind the wheel the sky was the limit regarding turning circle. Car Bodies approached Zeus to design a modern caliper that would be small enough so as the car could retain its small turning circle and they came up with the goods!
