#1 Panel in boot floor
Anyone got any ideas what this apparently removable panel is for on the floor towards the back of the boot, it appears to be held in place with self tapping screws. As far as I can tell by looking online the floor should be solid here?

Do you have the owners manual or workshop manual for your car? I’m sure they would both give you the answer.
I don’t have an S1 but I believe it gives access to the brakes on the IRS. Letting the more knowledgeable put in their comments.

Thanks gents, armed with that info I was able to find a thread on the other side…

Kind of surprising that Robey etc don’t offer a version of that boot floor with a service hatch as an option considering it was apparently made by Jaguar for over two years.
