SEAT RUNNERS SPACER DIAGRAM?

Hi all,

I am looking at the seat runners on my car. It has standard seats, and on removing them I have noticed the seat spacers/boss's are a mismatch of parts.

Does anyone have a diagram of what goes where? As I read it from the SNG list, there is a spacer between the seat base and runner, and spacers under the boss's at the front of the seat, also spacers under the rear of the runners where they fix to the floor. Am I correct?

The parts catalogue and repair manuals dont really show anything and ive done a search and can't really find anything. Help please!

I found that one but it's for a series 2, mines a series 1, although they look the same though???

Hi all,

Had a conversation with SNGB this morning re these seat runner spares and what goes where.

Apparently, on the early cars (as someone has already mentioned), info is sparing...

I managed to track down a thread on jag lovers which explains in detail exactly what I needed.

This has measurements, everything I need! The spacers that go between seat base and runner are NLA (BD13529) but are no more than a large 1/4 washer, so I can source these anywhere.

Thanks Steve. I was looking at that but it doesn't correspond in the picture plate? The picture is sparse, doesn't really show you what goes where but the description is good!

I believe I have the dimensions of the spacers, but I am in the UK at the moment. If you can’t locate them by the time I get home, I’ll post them for you once home. Mike

You can add/remove spacers to raise/lower the seat, also to tilt it for better thigh support . Also, is the fore/aft slide adjustment a bit stiff?
Remove all spacers and fasten just the rears bolts . Compare the gaps under the runners at the front 2 mounts; for smooth runners the spacers you add must be the same difference as these gaps.
