Ron, welcome to the best place for all things E Type. Posting photos, there are various ways to do this including using postimage and Imgur. Search for both of those to find topics and advice. If you include your name and car type in your signature it will help others answer appropriately. Click on your user name top right to do that.
If you’re going to be buying parts from SNG Barratt (and others) membership of the JEC or JDC can get you discounts that will more than pay for membership. Get yourself along to Jaguar spares day next March to hunt for parts. Some are difficult to buy second hand though they can be seen on fleabay but watch out for the price asked as sometimes it can be more than new. And where parts are common to other cars, then putting the name E Type on them will double the price!

Thanks Geoff for the welcome.

Il get onto the image hosting and put some pics up.

Ive not heard of Jag spares day but sounds like i definately need to be there.

It seems my car was used as a spares car id imagine and lots of bits have been robbed which is a real shame, but it was cheap and isn't totally rotten.
