#1 diff rebuild

can anyone suggest where the best place is to get my differential rebuilt

Hi Paul.....A friend had his done recently at Universal Axels Kidderminster (recommended to us by CMC.).....two guys John & Adrian all they do is diffs & gearbox,s 01562 861651.....Diff is back in the car & working fine.....i actually visited them, a small but tidy & well equipped set up....Steve

Paul,

I had mine done by Competition Transmission Services near Luton.

They do a lot of work for Cobra builders, and motorsport types. They seemed to know their stuff. Cost was reasonable, including a ratio change. Everything renewed or checked, but no paint. It has been in for two years/4000 miles with no problems.

I would recommend them, even though they changed to the wrong ratio first time. That was quite annoying, as I had driven to collect it, but they sorted it out and shipped the diff to me.
