You only have to book a Ryanair flight from Stansted to Ancona, from there you will be my guest ......

Middle of May, 2013: you only have to plan it, I'm serious !

A person with a shared E-type love is for sure a friend !

Ciao Lorenzo.

Thanks Lorenzo, nice pics.

The rain looks heavy, did it rain for much of the event, or was that just a shower?

I have often wondered and perhaps you might know or could find out - How come it is called the "Thousand Miles"? Have miles ever been used in Italy? Why not 1600 Kilometers? (OK 1000 is a nice round number) but do continentals generally know what a mile is even? If I asked the average Italian "Quante miglia a Roma" would he or she look blank or be able to tell me?

And one other thought... The entry list is very select, of course, but as the roads are not closed to the public, is there anything to stop you driving your classic, or any other car, along the route at the same time?

Ever thought of changing your auto to manual? I've done that to mine. Wow! what a difference it made for the better.
