#1 Pre purchase inspection

Post by Malc » Mon Jun 10, 2013 12:32 pm

Does anyone know of someone who can undertake a pre purchase inspection of a E Type in the South East? I looked at a car over the weekend that seemed promising but need to have someone who knows E Types look at it before I take it any further. Unfortunately I have been unable to contact the Company I had spoken to previously and as I would like to get it done asap, I need to find someone else. I have spoken to Louise at Club HQ but there is no-one who is recommended. Thanks. Malc

Shoot Angus Moss an email at Moss Jaguar - he's in that region. I do them in the SE too, but that's South East USA :-)

Good point Lee although I thought Harry told me he was not doing them hence I did not suggest E Type UK.

Blimey! Leave this forum alone for 10 minutes and I'm ripped apart!

Spoken to Paul, appointment made for next Tuesday.

Well Angus did his stuff - and the car is.....................rejected! Too much rust bubbling away underneath for comfort and too much overspray; re-sale red is I think the expression. However the report was just what I wanted - good advice on what not to do - thanks Angus. So, onwards and upwards, there's a sound 2+2 out there somewhere..............
