Leaking diff seal - LH side drive shaft

Hi all,

My '66 4.2 was sitting for a while in the one position while I attended to a/c and other issues.

After approx. 20kms drive it appears that the oil seal in the LH side of the diff is leaking - and has successfully oiled the inside brake pad!!

Assuming that the seal does not take up - he says hopefully - can this seal be replaced with the diff assembly in place.

Any clues or instructions on what needs to be done?
