Be very wary of these. I put away a very very nice early XJS in one of these and when I opened it 4 months later the interior was growing mold. I would never buy another one. May have been my bad fortune but it was a Horror story. Most upsetting. Andrew

Hmmm... that's odd. Did you have the filters fitted and have the zip closed? I've had my tub stored in one for months over the winter time and bits of bare metal have no more rust on them now than when I put it away.

Yes it was all buttoned up and working fine. However, I did discover that the XJS had a bung missing in the floor and the carpet on the passenger side may have been wet when put away. But that was only my analysis given the disaster that confronted me when I unzipped it

If you put the car in there and it's wet (outside) you're supposed to leave the vent unzipped for 24 hours to let it dry out and then zip it up. Not sure that would work though if it was wet inside. Just unzipped mine and the bare metal still has no rust on it :) It must have been in there for 6 months now and counting...
