My FHC chrome was done by Howells according to the paperwork and they have done an excellent job. I know Richard Smith swears by them and sends all his re-manufactured stuff to there for plating. I believe Christopher Storey has also used them.

No, I used Vernon Moss in Heckmondwike with good results for chrome. I used a firm in Droitwich for zinc-nickel plating also with good results and service

Hi All,
I have used Adam Howell with excellent results on my MK2 Jaguar chrome. I have a C-Type Jaguar grill with castle chrome at the present time due for completion at the end of this month. I will know what their quality is then. I used castle chrome on this last piece because I couldn't find Howells at Stoneleigh in October so left the grill with Castle, only to find Howells tucked away in a corner later in the morning.

Hi - I used Castle to do the rear bumpers on my car (changed from the pic on the left now to the correct length!). Their work was good - although it's only been three months! - and the price reasonable. The only thing I'd say is that their "admin" appeared "chaotic".
The only other firm I have experience of in the midlands is Marque Restore - they took a great deal longer with my Mk 2 chrome than they originally quoted and did cost more than their estimate without clearing it with me first. Having said that, their work still looks great after a couple of years.......
