Interesting piece about a modified e-type... https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RVy21N52hPc

Not to my tastes but what do I know!

The front view looks gorgeous, but that's the only view that looks good on the Espada as well!
It's not the worst modified E Type I've seen, but certainly not a patch on the original design.

Ford Capri Mk2 front grille, lights and bonnet creases but a pretty car and very famous. There are kits of the car on eBay from time to time. Revell maybe? Quite large scale I think.

Pity he kept banging on about D-type wheels when they are cast LWE not pressed alloy D at all. That, and the old saw about the 2+2 having a steeper more upright windscreen, when in fact it was the same angle as the FHC and OTS (until they raked it back to an even shallower angle for the S2 2+2 and both S 3 models). He may have just been comparing it to the Piranha I suppose.

Nice car and way better than the Frua or Loewy coupes.

And far far nicer looking than the Owen Sedanca which was a similar attempt on the XJ6
