Post by rolando38 » Mon Mar 30, 2015 5:25 am

hello77yesterday I tried to remove my steering wheel in order to refurbish it
I was expecting to find screws behind the peripheral aluminium (?) part
but I only found rivets

Yes, you need to remove the rivets if you want to separate the boss from the wheel.
The horn boss is supposed to be held in with 3 small grub screws. Your horn boss is broken/not original. Someone has just glued it on.
