#1 Temperature rise.
Cruising at normal speed's the temperature of the engine never rises above normal, but if I get stuck in traffic or have to crawl along the temperature quickly rises but doe's not boil over but stay's high with the fan's on. Is this the sign of a failing water-pump? I have an alloy rad with built-in twin fan's. Thank's.

If it doesn't boil don't worry about it.

If it just stays hot in Murcia in traffic, don't worry! Where in Murcia? I had a boat in Tomas Maestre at La Manga

Hello Malcolm, I know La Manga well, i'm about an hour away near a place called Port of Mazarron. Maybe I am over reacting about the temperature rise as recently we have had air- temperatures of over 40 degree's here.
