#1 V12 Brakes

Post by Will Caradoc-Hodgkins » Sun Jun 28, 2009 3:43 pm

My front brakes, well pretty sure its them ,are staring to bind after driving for a few miles stop go traffic.
I fitted a full new system, master cylindr, servo, calipesr, brake, disks etc compensater two years and 3000miles ago. HAll parts from SNG B.

Did a bit of research and replace the reactor valve on the master cylinder but no luck

When I brake I can hear a sort of thud coming from the servo so maybe the problem is there?

Any suggestions/

I have just had this problem after rebuilding the brake system. The reaction valve was OK so I have fitted a new servo unit. This has fixed it. It seems rebuilding the old servo resulted in in it being too stiff for the servo spring to release it.
