Ah! Oops. I must use the search function?.
Mine won't arrive until December sometime - needs a few bits sorting, so I am spending the interim reading up, watching E Type vids on youtube and getting ridiculously excited!

Then please post photos of your Lotus - I have an Elan which I adore despite its occasional failings. Handling to die for!

Which one? The classic or the M100? I always fancied a Sprint until the prices got a little silly, as the old Elans are an absolute delight. I have the more modern version - a K series engined S2 Elise, and also had a 211 for five years with which I got the track day bug well and truly out of my system, before selling it to help fund a house purchase.
Will do my best to post pics but might take a little working out as this forum and its workings are new to me. Stand by ;)

So I've gone away and realised as I don't use flickr myself I'll struggle with pics, but hopefully these links will give you a flavour:
http://www.motorauthority.com/news/1030 ... ric-design
(That was my 211 - not the garish one at the top but the special photographed at Goodwood)
My Elise is like this one:

(but not this one exactly??)

Yeah ta I found that. But I don't use a photo hosting site so that scuppers me I'm afraid.

Stephanie, I don't use a photo hosting site except to make use of "photobucket" for posting photos on the forum. It's free, easy enough to use and is especially useful when you need to ask specific questions when a picture tells a thousand words.
Might be worth having a go with it.

I use photobucket (free) for same reason. Works well, and easy to use when you get used to it.

Exact same here. I started the same as Stephanie (personally trying to avoid the public domain as much as possible) but realised that I was hampered by not being able to share pictures. So I opened a photobucket account for the sole purpose of sharing pictures on the forum, both to help me on my problems, and help others on their's.
