Friend doing Mk10 rebuild has triple carb water rail that the starter carb plumbed into, but one thread has been cross threaded.
It has 24tpi and is not UNF and not 1/4 BSPP
Anyone with MK10 experience before moving on to E types know what the thread is ?

Where exactly is this thread? Is it on one of the studs? Or is it into the aluminium?
