Hi all i'm looking at getting an E type V12 coupe body shell shipped from UK to Australia and i need approx weight of shell no doors engine etc, just a bare body, anyone got any info?
Also anyone know of good reasonable priced shipping company who can do door to door

It depends what you mean by bare body, but my estimates would be
Shell without glass : about 240 lbs / 110 kgs
Frames : about 35 lbs / 15 kgs
Bonnet : about 150 lbs / 70 kgs

thanks for the reply it is just a bare shell, no doors, no glass ,no engine trans ,no suspension no trim just the bare metal shell with no frames etc
just need weight for shipping company

A couple of weeks ago I attempted to load a 2+2 bare shell onto a trailer. When I say bare, I mean no, zero, nada floors, tunnel or rear bulkhead and half a front bulkhead. No doors or hatch or glass of course. As someone who can carry overdrive gearboxes and differentials with relative ease, I would guess my 'upper shell' weighs a couple of hundred. The 2+2 is heavier than FHC but not that much and yours is a 2+2 being V12, so I'd guess nearer 350 for shipping, depending how/if it's crated.
