#1 Early dash panel.

Just a quick one. Is the dot metal alloy panel on the dashboard glued to the underneath panel or is it just held in place by the instruments and switches? My original panel looks as though nothing has been glued to it but a previous owner has removed the allow part.
Cheers, George

Not glued, held in place by the switches and instruments. Jaguar lists it as 'Face Panel' part C1855. The later black dash used from September 1963 had the vinyl thermo bonded to the panel assembly.
