Anybody know - is it possible to get replacement spindles (the splines on the outside are quite worn and damaged from decades of wrenching wiper arms off) without having to buy the whole wiper rack mechanism? I see SNGB sell the whole assembly but I don't need 90% of it.
One of the two little nylon bushes on the crankshaft of the centre spindle is missing too (these are the "big end" bearings for the long conrods out to the outer wipers) - I guess it's too much to hope that anybody sells those?
Grateful for bright ideas as always,

Try richard Smith for the bushes. Regarding the spindles, you can buy arms that have a wedge shaped part of the spline that screws up and locks it onto the rack spline. Maybe these would work?

I had a similar issue with the spindles. I bought a set of the arms that Angus suggested from http://www.holden.co.uk and they seem to work if you get the screws tight enough. Probably worth a try if the splines aren't too far gone.
