Restoration Book

Good afternoon everyone!

I would like to make a present for my partner and he just bought a Jaguar E-Type Series 1 3,8 to completely restore, I would really appreciate if you could tell me in your opinion what would be the best restore guide book that I could buy, it's a present so I can't ask him directly haha

One of the best guides is Chris Rooke's Book 'E-Type Jaguar DIY Restoration & Maintenance'. It is the very well illustrated account of the complete restoration by an amateur. There are, as one would expect, a few factual errors in it but these are not of any consequence , and it tells you a great deal about the pitfalls of such a restoration

Another vote for Chris Rooks book..really good read and very usefull as a reference book
