#1 Brake reservoir internal filters

Hi does any one know were I can get the filters that fit into the reservoir bottles.
Mine are shot.

I don't think you can buy them individually as they are moulded into the spigot during bottle production. I seem to recall SNGB are making bottles with the filters C18617 but only on their premium version at about £35 a pop. They do however fit the brackets unlike the cheaper versions. Ditto the 4.2 bottles. Suggest you give them a call and check.

To be honest you only need the filters if you are using the old cork floats.

Available on on Ebay but I'm not sure I'd want to risk splitting the bottle to get old one out / new one in...

The only reason i wanted to fit them is that mr lyons would never spend a penny if he didnt have to,i understnd about the cork braking up but my car never had them ? :geek:

It would be helpful if we knew what series your car was. Please add it to your signature.

Lots of odd things happened during production so not deleting the filters with the change of floats was probably one of them. Another example is continuing to include the hand brake adjuster key in the toolkit even though it was only needed on the first 500 cars.
