#1 Rubber seals

Post by Tricky1.5 » Fri Jun 23, 2017 11:31 am

I understand that Baines are about the best around for reproduction rubber seals. They don't do kits as such so I was hoping someone might have a comprehensive list of seals with the Baines part numbers to suit a series 1.5 FHC. I think series one is the same as far as seals go.
Cheers,

They have pages & pages of what looks like psychologists' ink blots on the website. I think you would need to match the old rubber seals with the 'inkblots'. They will make special extrusions to order - you have to pay for the die though. They're not far from me - used to be right in the middle of a housing estate until recently! They do make some vehicle-specific parts for Morris Minors, but I'm not aware of anything else like that.

Thanks Hugo,
I'll have to go through the ink blots one by one then....

Richard, if I recall well, if you write to them an email asking for the available seals for your model they will respond with the list of suitable grades they can offer. They do not have all the needed seals.
