looking superb...you can do mine next! ....everyone does it differently when restoring but a teensy bit of patina of age never did any harm in my opinion...

Your's certainly looks to be original as others have already verified. All of the reproductions I have seen have the growler's ears in white squares (not black squares as the originals) and the checkerboard squares have rounded corners not sharp corners like the originals.
