#1 Emiision control piping and air pump

Post by DAM » Thu Jan 23, 2020 4:52 pm

Hi I have recently bought a 1974 S3 V12 Roadster, which was imported from the US, as a retirement project. The body is sound but it needs quite a lot of mechanical work. It has lots of piping for the emission control system and an air pump, which is seized solid. Can I remove the air pump and piping or does it need to stay? I would be grateful for some advice from someone who knows. Thanks David
