I am connecting all the wires on my new harness and I don't see the stop switch on the pedal box is it here or in another place ?
My second question is about the wires for the reverse lamp. I have the wire arriving from the rear lamp on the left side wich is ok when I test it but I have no wire from the connecting plug to the switch on the gear box....! I don't find any couple of wires going to the gearbox if some one has pictures of the wires so I can see where they come from..... it would be very helpfull ....

Yves
Do you mean the mechanical stop switch usually found on the brake pedal shaft?
Series 1 3.8 cars didn't have one. The brake lights are operated by an Otter Switch which is situated under the bonnet, This is plumbed into the brake line. From memory it's mounted on the picture frame, in front of the engine block on the inlet (carb)side. At least it is on a Right Hand Drive car. It maybe on the opposite side in your car if it's LHD.
I'm sure someone else can clarify this last point.
